Provide good drainage in clay soil. Smog tolerant. Has fragrant flower and leaf. Native to China and Japan.
     A Cinnamomum camphora in Sacramento Capital Park is registered as a California Big Tree. It measures 88 feet high, with a trunk circumference of 249 inches and a crown spread of 95 feet.
